Description

Accommodation is available on a self-catering basis in a number of secluded Karoo-style cottages.  The cottages are luxuriously furnished and equipped, utilizing eco-friendly solar energy systems.

Self-catering accommodation:
 
1.1)    Per cottage for 1 - 2 guests – R 325.00 pppd
        Per additional adult – R 250.00 pppd
        Per additional child 7 - 12 years of age – R 125.00 pppd
        No charge for children 6 and under
                                                          
1.2) Optional cleaning service – R 75.00 (general housekeeping, beds, dishes, etc)
                                    
1.3) Dogs under control – R 70.00 per visit (Sandgrouse & Chat Cottages only)
 
 
Camping:
 
2.1) Adults – R 95.00 pppd

Directions

1) From Cape Town to MontEco use N1 North, take the R60 to Worcester, Robertson and Ashton and continue to Montagu (Montagu is entered in Long Street) 2) Continue in Long Street and then turn left into Cross Street. At the 4-way stop, turn right into Bath Street. Continue until just before to the Montagu Golf Course and turn right at the road signposted MontEco, which also leads to the Ashbury Residential area of Montagu. * After 2km the tar road becomes a gravel road. (You will soon lose cell phone coverage) * After a further 1.5km on the gravel road – turn right at the road signposted MontEco / Oubergpad * Continue for another 1.9km to the T-junction and turn left * About 12.5km further – just past the first motor gate – turn right at the Driekuilshoogte road. * Continue for about 14km until you reach the MontEco gate (this road takes you through the Fonteinskloof Trust Conservation Area, past African Game Lodge and past the turn-off of the farm Klipbokskraal to the MontEco motor gate). 3) From the MontEco motor gate, follow the signs to the MontEco Reception – a further 3.4km, please report to Reception on arrival.
